Hi. A quick question. Does anyone knows how to export an animation with transparency (either 1color or alpha channel) with graphicsgale (free edition)? I know it can't export animated gifs in the free version. I need an image sequence, each frame with transparent background. Btw, i'm not interested in buying the software yet. Thanks in advance.
Don't know if this is the right section to post this questions...

It looks like you cannot save animated gifs in the free version. I downloaded GraphicsGale and it wont save/export animated gifs (Says so here: http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/download.html - http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/download.html)
It looks like it cost around $21 with the current exchange rate from yen to dollars.
If you don't want to purchase the full version, I know that you can export all the individual frames. You might be able to use these files in a different program and create an animation.

for an animation, I exported it as multiple files and then import as layers in GIMP. right click to select by color, then hit delete. to save as an animated gif, you need to name each frame which is really tedious. sry i cant give more detailed instructions but there are videos on youtube etc.
GIMP is free.

I think I know what you are talking about. I've done something like that before with MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker.
