As of now heres the general idea of the bigger picture. There will be 3 teams (races as people call them), but we will be calling them teams. Each team will have there own set of units and buildings
Eventually we will release an Editor which will allow you to create small mini games like the one we will be releasing first.
Types of games that will be possible:
Cats and mice (and ants or fleas) What is common for all is that there are one or two cats (player or CPU controlled) who will try to eat the mice. If a mouse is eaten he will be captured at the center of the map and another mouse most go there in order for him to be released. If all mice are captured the cats win. The mice are not totally defenseless however. While the cats are by far stronger, the mice can sneak through small holes in the map, as well as build stuff. If they have built a home near minerals, they can mine minerals to get some fancy new weaponry to combat the cats. If a mouse is allowed to mine a lot of minerals without being disturbed by a cat, he will grow stronger, eventually strong enough to kill the cat. If all cats die, the game ends. Note that the cat gets minerals by destroying the mice and their homes, this can then be used to buy various units and equipment, such as the mouse trap.
Cops and Robbers This is very much like the game most of us used to play in grade school and kindergarden. The objective of the game depends on if you are a Robber or a Cop. If you are a Robber, you must kill a set number of civilians before the time runs out. If you are a Cop, you must prevent it from happening. You cannot create units or buildings, you can however upgrade your existing unit. For Cops to gain money for upgrades, they have to kill Robbers whilst Robbers must kill civilians to get money for upgrades. If a Cop dies, he respawns at his base without any upgrade, but he gets to keep his money. If a Robber dies, he is sentenced to one minute in jail (two other robbers can actually make him break out though), he will also lose all upgrades upon death. The Police can hire dogs at the kennel to aid them in their hunt for criminals
Defense maps
Bound Maps In most bound maps, you will not actually kill anything. You just have to try to not touch any enemy or let them touch you. You must pass certain obstacles, some requires teamwork or usage of various tricks
