We already have the character description written, and basically we need like 10 trainer sprites  (like these ones : http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/pokefrlg/trainers2.png - http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/pokefrlg/trainers2.png ), and 10 or so overworld sprites (like these : http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/pokefrlg/npcs.png - http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/pokefrlg/npcs.png ).
