On another note, your dithering on the lower portion looks less like dithering, and more like just diagonal lines. And well, maybe that's what you were going for. Nice one nonetheless.
It looks weird/cute enough to be in a Studio Ghibli animation. Cool!

One thing that bugs me a little is that the orange light line is "broken", it could use some junction pixels in the intervals
