TIGSource's Assemblee is a two-part game making competition: The first part (which is running now, through November 28th) is a call for artists and musicians to create assets: tiles, characters, UI elements, fonts, sound effects, whatever. These go into a large communal pool, which will be used freely, mix and match style by programmers and designers to make games, come the second part - all the art used for these games come out of that pool. You can submit whatever you like, so long as it's made for the competition.

Dino Run is Pixel Jam's most popular game. Infact it is a free flash multiplayer game. You control a Dino escaping extinction, Play single player, Multiplayer and reach amazing running speeds in this popular platform racing game. This game combines classic pixels and  complex pixel effects together.

Link: http://www.pixeljam.com/dinorun/

Pros: Fun, Lasts a little, multiplayer, pixel, graphics, features.

Cons: Sometimes there aren't many matches going on, may not work if your computer is sluggish and super slow, other than that it is a very good game.

Nitrome has a new platform game out and it looks and plays as well as all the Nitrome games always do. The pixels by Markus Heinel are all cute and very well made. This one contains twenty levels that only get tougher and tougher. All you must do is escape the caves before they crumble. Fun!

Play it here!
