Welcome to the real 5th April Fools Gallery challenge.

After a year's break, we've changed things around a little; this year, we're asking you to create a piece of pixel art in the style of one of PJ's featured pixel artists. So pick one of the following artists:

• Jinn
• Stickman
• Syosa
• iLKke
• Adarias
• Gas13
• Buloght
• Fool
• Jalonso
• nvision

then create a piece based on what you've learned about their techniques, background, inspirations, etc... from reading their interview and browsing their gallery.

No list of restrictions this week; pick what restrictions are appropriate for your chosen artist. Just make sure your entry is entirely your own work and that you name the pixel artist you are attempting to emulate in your description.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.

I know I said I had the submit pixel art functionality working earlier, but this time it reeeeeally should be working. I tested with a few of your test files (thanks for your help!) and they all come up sparkling now. Thanks for your patience peoples.

Due to the recent downtime, the challenge has been extended by a week. Additionally, it has been updated to:

Depict somebody/something being jealous of someone/something.

The transfer to the new server went smoothly and we're just tying up a few loose ends...  

• Submissions of pixel art are still being worked out right now, but they should be up soon.
• The weekly challenge will not switch over this week so people will have time to get things posted for this Sunday.

We're working on figuring out what's causing the up and down issues with PJ right now. It seems to be isolated to this site alone as other sites on this server are still able to function. Please bear with us. 

"Final Freeway 2R" is the sequel of a 2010 racing game developed by Oyatsukai.com called "Final Freeway". This new version of the game features a lot of new game mechanics (road splits, character selection, new controls, etc...) and styling new pixel art graphics by Misbug. The game is now available only on iTunes App Store for iOS, but soon there will be also an Android compatible release.
