March featured angels, demons and other critters, as well as fantastic landscapes. Many thanks go out to this month's top pixel artists and all the members who took time to rate.
Design an original, non-humanoid creature that inhales sound energy as a means of sustenance - that is, it consumes sound in a similar manner that humans consume food.
You may present this creature as a standalone sprite or integrate it into a scene, if you like.
Optional Bonus Challenge: Give us some background info on your creature in your description :)
Canvas size - Max 128 x 128.

Create an image depicting a sunset - in greyscale. This means you must not use any saturation in your image. A good way to work this out is by looking at the hexcodes - they should all be in this format:
#XYXYXY.
So #a3a3a3 would be acceptable for this challenge, as would #525252 or #000000.
Canvas Size - Max 200 x 200.
Colours - Min 8; Max 16.
Transparency - No.
Animation - Optional.
Eldboll wants you to create a pixel piece based on this line:
"...And so the greatest battle ever fought had begun."
This is an open-ended challenge, so feel free to interpret this line however you want (within reason, of course!)
Canvas Size - Max 200 (width) x 150 (height).
Colours - Max 32.
Transparency - No.
Animation - Optional.
Unfortunately, due to a technical issue caused by our newest moderator, Big Brother, this week's challenge has had to end prematurely. Thankfully, we have a backup challenge though! This challenge will run from now until the challenge countdown timer reaches 0. As this challenge is only lasting a few days we have decided to make it a fairly simple one.
For the remainder of this week you are challenged to draw an existing lunder from one of the three known rodens, using only 6 colours and a small 60 x 80 canvas size.
Canvas Size - Max 60 (width) x 80 (width). This is the entire canvas, so everything must fit within this particular canvas size.
Colours - Max 6.
Transparency - Optional. Only use transparency if you are creating more than one lunder.
Animation - Optional.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
UPDATE: None of you guys seem to be taking this new challenge seriously! So I guess the best thing to do is just revert back to the original challenge :o
