Thanks for asking! But unfortunately no, they're copyrighted by my former company.

They're supposed to be static =]

Thanks. I based on some 32bit era RPGs such as Breath of Fire 3, that use lots of colors

Whoa, thanks for the compliment! I really love MS's animations ^^

Acho que só não curti muito a (in)definição da musculatura do braço, mas a fluidez da animação e as poses estão incríveis!

Significa que você é brasileiro também? Ficou muito massa essa animação! =]

This is really cool. The background is not interfering with our perception of the foreground, which is very important for the player. But the character is really faded, hard to grasp. Maybe using some brighter colors?

Very lovable. But have you considered putting a bit of shadow below the hair? As it is, it looks like an scar.

Cool, looks like old Phantasy Star sprites.

Having a cute pet red dragon ^^

It's the in-game proportions. I've already diminished her for about 40%, soon i'll post her again with full animations.

And you were right about her dress. I've changed it a little bit, but don't know if it became that better...

user
rafaelventura @ 12/7/2010 09:46 commented on Unused witch

In the game we need it smaller still.

user
rafaelventura @ 12/7/2010 08:02 commented on Unused witch

Lol It's the sprite. But maybe the witch too ^^

Oh yeah! Now THAT forest i remember! I think i've been lost in there for AGES until i realized i had to follow the owl! ^^

And the spear. Best weapon in the game... until the bazooka =]

My, this is astonishingly good! If i were just to nitpick, i would say that the shack by the mountain doesn't seem that it's "incrusted" in it. Maybe adding a bit more constrast where the rocks and wood come together. Also, the purple shadow on the ground is TOO sharp, try to blur it a little more.

Other than that, it's one of the more beautiful buildings i've seen made with pixel art. Way to go!

rafaelventura @ 12/4/2010 14:42 commented on Fire Tower

Thanks! Although i didn't even remembered it had dragons, I think Secret of Evermore is one of the most underrated and underappreciated games of our history. Seriously, what is that so many people see wrong in it?

user
rafaelventura @ 12/4/2010 13:57 commented on Fire Tower

yeah, i thought about adding a frame between each direction. Will do if i have the time =]

user
rafaelventura @ 12/2/2010 05:15 commented on Best outpost ever

Whoa, this is really amazing! I only think that the soldier is presenting a contrast higher than the background, making him popout rather artificially. Looks that they were two different pieces taht you put together. But overall i loved the background and the pose.

Gostei bastante do efeito lembrando lápis! Só acho que você devia escurecer/sombrear mais um pouco as costas da cadeira e as laterais da escrivaninha, pra deixar a imagem mais dramática e a iluminação mais natural.
