	eduarda @ 7/12/2008 19:02 commented on Colossal Katamari it's a copy of a chris burden piece from the helter skelter show at the moca, 1991, i think. i dont know if it this copy is advertent or in-, which i find kind of interesting. even moreso cos i doubt the chris burden ball has become iconic enough to warrant accidental thievery, purposeful homage or even, as was once horribly said, pastiche [probably still is horribly said, come to think of it]. faux-ppropriation here, i would bet [meaning: it isnt really stolen at all, just the same type of idea had by another person, which doubles or trebles its interest value, at least to me]. all those billions of aeons ago i did the research for the original & so find everso more interesting, redux, wherended this particular game of telephone. i should add that the person w/ whom i live, who once drummed w/ a variety of [in]famous Hair Bands, would much prefer this to the one for which i did time in the library. take that as you will.
