I think this balances it out, especially seeing as blue = dull and shadowy and yellow = light and sunny. So both colours are there in the picture, just reversed if they were reflecting colour :) I don't see the rocks actually shiny enough to reflect colour, so the blue is more used in the shadow sense here.

When you're doing a large piece for the first time, it's worth going with a simpler design. Also, it kind of looks like most of the bottom emotes were just copy pasted on. Favourite part - the vomiting emote right on the top. It actually looks like that one is built into the fountain. Til I saw that one, I thought they were just swimming.
