Yes, that's the whole charm. You need to replace the file under "Your Artwork:". The preview image can be left as is. The only thing you need to remember is that if you edited your file, you also have to change the name of it before uploading (like adding 2). If you don't, the site will not recognise it is a new file, and will not replace the file at all.

Same problems here. Clean the palette (you really only need max 8 colours in this sprite), and get rid of the 2x zoom, and it will be accepted.

I'm not sure what CrissyPink888 is referring to, but what I see here is a good example of pixel art. There are only two tiny problems with it:

The palette limit is 24 in this challenge. Please fix this on monday, or we will have to remove it from the poll. You currently have 55 colours.

This is good but you have to delete the background. It is a sprite challenge and the background should be fully transparent. I will accept it, but please fix that as soon as possible, otherwise I will have to remove it from the challenge.

You are allowed to have the background on the preview.

Ultra low res sprites are hard and this one is pretty darn good!

Hello. I think there is something wrong with the file. The colour count is 272 and the characters look like compressed by some uneven resize, with artifacts (for example outlines reduced to few singular pixels). Is there anyway you can fix this? We cannot accept it in the gallery at this state.

You can just replace the file, by clicking the pen icon under your artwork. Just remember, that PJ will not recognize the change of the file if both, the old one and the new one have the same name. Rename it before otherwise it will stay the same.

Yup. Some things are just too good. I could just divide it into small squares and each one of them would be aesthetically pleasing to me. 

My advice to the viewers: just zoom in, enjoy each tiny detail and feel good about how far the art of pixel went at this point, and how skilled one pixel artist can be, instead of feeling bad about yourself not practicing enough lately

Hello. Based on your previous work I feel like I could ask you to put some more effort in this piece. It looks alright where it is, but could use some polish. The shading is the thing I'm mostly concerned of (especially the forehead appears almost pillowish). The low contrast I can accept as a stylistic choice, and other than that it looks super clean pixelled.

Hey, this is a very good start. The palette is controleld nicely, the shape and light are painted well. We would like to ask you to add a final cleaning touches before we can accept it - especially some jaggy lines. 

The liking of it or not is not the concern. We like gradation too. It has many uses. But we do not use it on PJ. If you don't wish to change it, than we will have to delete the work, which would be a pity, because it is very good.
