It's weird that even this simple 7 colors "piece" is causing you discomfort.
It's less experimental than the others.

The process:
I just let things happen.
Using improvisation. (Accidentalisation rodinienne in french - Auguste Rodin)
This is not what i intended to do, but it's better, so i keep it.
I am not a natural pixel artist.

So i am not thinking "hey you're doing pixel art".
For me, Pixel art is not a style, i just follow 3 main rules:
1-human dumbness.
2-low resolution.
3-low color palette. (7 colors chosen on a  12 bits palette , 4096 colors in that case)

Is the pixel art scene so conservative ?
I perfectly know the  third rule "Pieces must exhibit intentional pixel placement over the entire image...."
I proudly assume responsibility for the placement of each pixels. (even if the result  sucks)
I don't discriminate pixels.
320X200 : 64000 pixels.
Almost nothing in a life happens intendedly.
I placed those pixels till my hand ache too much. (mouse and tablet)
Hours of work.


You see algorithmic noise reduction.
I see  quick and dirty dithering.
Are 2X2 or  3X3 patterns forbidden ?
By the way what kind of software would produce such crappy effects ?

Well, just being honest and not stealing ideas from others.

This is rather a newbie level pixel art, but i liked the colors.
I started hundreds of projects, older ones are 3 years old.
Some of them are a lot better but are still unfinished.
If this miserable drawing is causing "suspicions", i'll nether be able to post anything else.

It's almost a 7 colors work as the #1c1c22 is only use by 11 pixels and so close to #1d212b.

This pixel art was started almost 2 years ago.

Once the dithering process is started it becomes very diifcult to do important changes.

The picture is "locked" and it is not very fun.
