 Really like how you can see the person's whole body...

 Looks exactly like him, and love that it's a scene from a movie.

Hey guys appreciate the comments, especially as I'm still learning...

@eNerGi, thanks, is it the size or the colouring of the fin?  I felt the size was a little small but I couldn't make it bigger due to canvas size.?

@thinlikenate, thanks

@Sinsky, thanks. Re the textures, the skin on a shark is pretty smooth so I don't know where I would have gone with that... I'd really appreciate an example. I've been guilty of over-dithering previously so I tried to steer clear of dither though I agree it could have used a touch here any there, and I am still learning on the AA side of things - there is some here and there where I could figure it out.  AA to a transparent background is a little trickier for me.

 That's why I'm going for the challenges... I know i'm not much good but I'm really hoping a combination of practice, the weekly challenges and feedback from the community will help me improve.  When I finally win a 1/2/3 challenge trophy I know i'll have improved at least a little bit!

 Thanks for the comments guys,

I'll give the hands and ocean another shot once the weekly challenge is over, I think i understand what you mean and it should look a bit better once it's changed.

Thanks for the comments,

It was my first time practicing dithering and I agree it's overdone.  I've also not previously limited myself with colour so I was keen to see where it went.  Originally I was only using 3 colours but I couldn't get things how I wanted them. I'm not happy with how the rock turned out either.  I think paper looks good though...
