Dunno if ill revise this one any time soon, but I should have definitly planned some of it better. I just kept adding frames and at some point it just needed to be 'done'. There was an inbetween somewhere at some point, but this felt snappier. Your right tho it could use readability adjustments. 

Are those blueberries or barnacles? Im now both peckish and afraid.

Yea both shows are great, prefer MN, but that might be bias. As its my first and favorite campaign of theirs.  (although 4 is shaping up to be spectacular!)

The colour use and contrast is excellent in this piece. I like the details of the bark, cacti and rock. I don't feel the lines of the composition entirely. It could use a dark foreground layer and some AA on some edges, but overall the piece is impressive. It has my vote.

5/5 I want to play it.

Well I found one excess colour and killed it, added more background fluff, fixed up multiple flaws. Lowered the brightness of the crystals and glyphs.

Thanks for the critique, Its late in my timezone so I just had to post it. 

That edit is the right idea I was strugling a bit with the readability. You know when you stare at something for too long and just don't know anymore and need another pair of eyes. 

And about the colour thing I use photoshop so sometimes things go a bit derp when I accidentally have the pencil on opacity -_-, And I honestly dont know a good way to fix it after the fact.

Now I have a dillema; get sleep or make it better...

 Yea you're right the overall lighting is a bit funky, but i think its too far along to go back and correct. I did however fix up the shadow part of the character which indeed was a weird flat thing. Thanks for the feedback.

Also @ Freshsheet I also changed the highlights in the back. 

 I really like the shapes and the patterns. Faved.
