I've met like hundreds of exhibitionists before finding her, actually

Yup, that's exactly it.

I didn't say trying to pause the game and spending more time to finish it was more weird than playing in coop. Actually, all solutions are "weird" : you can eventually hack the game, pause it and finish it later, be helped by someone or even try to play alone and put your life in danger. These aren't common ways to finish a game, and that's the point.

And I don't expect anything from the players : if they don't want to play for one week, then it's okay, it's normal. There is no real entertainment in a dating sim like this, what's important is that the game exists. It'll be a very difficult game, and it's intentional : you can't distract someone for one week with a real time story, because real time means waiting, eventually hoping, and waiting again. And today, when somebody decides to make a videogame/movie/song/whatever implies narration, what he tries to do is to completely delete this notion of waiting, which includes the suppression of +50% of a story.

Concerning the duration of the game, there'll be exactly 128 hours of gameplay, or only a few minutes out, depending on the player. No time ellipsis, so you can't skip the text. However, the text speed depends on the situation. What the player has to do is to choose what he wants to tell to a character, he can lose if he makes the wrong choice or if he takes too long to reply (there'll be a ~5sec timer).

It's not a problem, the player still has to adapt himself to the game. Cooperation is one of the solutions and the fastest and easiest way to beat the game, but if someone wants to spend more than a week playing a dating sim with pauses, then I don't mind :)
