Oh, Sherry, our love holds on, holds on..

WiP of a forest I'm working on. It's only requirements are that it be 100w x 50h and include a path. Also, after finding numerous references, it was agreed upon the fact that the path going off into a visual distance, to some v. small degree would be wonderful.

So, here's what I've done so far.

C&C is entirely open ended. You can call it crap, want to marry it, or offer sagely advice on improvements and such. I'm looking for anything and everything in the way of what the PJ folk think.
<--- This bouncy head goes with Smashing Pumpkins Tonight,Tonight. Seriously. Put it on and watch him go in the beginning. It's kind of scary.

pretty small, but I really like it. The one biggest tree might be a little too straight, but it's not a major problem. I really like it, nothing other than that yet. Good job

Yeah, if it wasn't commissioned, I'd definately go for bigger. It's a good challenge, though.
The big tree is what bothers me the most, so if anyone has any other criticisms on that, that'd be awesome.
Thanks, man.

edit: also, the path and the other side has become a challenge. perhaps  need a break. plus, Bruce Campbell's new movie is on in 3  minutes. I <3 that guy and the Raimi brothers.

Cool. Nice colours. I find the constrast in the shrubs in the forground to be a bit blocky in a few bits, I'd go over it and do a tiny bit of AA.

I think the trees a very stubby. Either the trunks are too thick or they are too short and their branches begin too low.

I'm not sure if the black line along the side of the path is a bit too dark, maybe lighten it up a bit into a blue or something like that.

Hmm that is all, keep it going it's a fine little piece

Right now it almost seems as though the path is emerging from the ground, I'd say try to go for the opposite look, and try to make the path go into the ground, as they are worn out from walking.
