Pixel Joint Forum: Rocketship! AND CAKE!

   I am new here. These are my first pixel projects, so nothing too major. Erm.. C&C would be good. 

EDIT: I only have mspaint for windows xp.

	program doesn't matter much. lots of people use mspaint, isn't optimal, but it's capable. rocket- very 2d. define the volumes better (learn to shade cylinder and other 3d shapes according to a set light source so the image has depth). all the noise isn't really helping either, too many colors and the application of detail looks a bit too gritty and doesn't really serve a purpose. cake- rather than a simple cylinder, maybe icing around the top and bottom edges? the dithering is hurting the piece atm, try for a smoother, creamier texture. candle looks more like an explosion than a calm flame. the text over the cake is a garish color and rather unattractive font that drags the whole piece down. and if it's for the Pixeljoint gallery, the text along the top and bottom of the image will have to be made by hand.
