Wow, very nice idea. Only problem is, that talented pixelartist are often too buzy for such a thing, and untalnted artists can't do viewable self-portraits. I think I belong to the second group, so I'll give it a shot and see if it is viewable or not...

Hmm, no custom frames? I like the wallpaper idea, I'll add that to it soon. I just have the two colors up there so the artist knows his limitation.

Even better, how about a yearbook? We could do a Class of '05 for all the members from last year. I'm sure Sedge could set up some room on the site to showcase it off properly. The templaye would pretty much stay the same:

or be layed out differently on each page, allowing for those candid class pictures of shop class (or pixel class you'd call it). This would give some of the more eager members to elaborate on it some more and  maybe pixel their interpretations of other members. Backgrounds could be created for each page so as to not have a boring white colour like the one above

Anyways, I'm not knocking the original idea, because I do think it's awesome... just thought I'd throw this out as well.

The template is just a template, so basically your own frame.

I like PB's idea, having it like a yearbook, I'll see what I can make for it. I'll also fix everyone's reservations.

And yes, snader and shark. You may have two squares merdged.

It would be very cool if the characters interacted with eachother. Know what I mean?
