The chest size, while on the upper limit, is passable. If you don't need to fit multiple people (or stuff) in it, you can make it smaller.
In order to decide if you need to populate the tile, try to progress with it. The best way to populate it without overcrowding is to add rocks or flotsam. |

I have been cleaning up the waves and I think overdoing the green pixels near the waves is making them look too busy so I will keep them like this.
I think I am finished, what do you guys think?

Nice work Theoden! My only bit of feedback would be that I think you can have a better transition between the surrounding 3 styles of water and yours. A challenge, but it would make it look less like a tile!

You're still not really blending into the style of the tiles around you, it's very clear where the border is in all cases. You have a big advantage with the lighthouse, you don't actually have to resolve where the edges meet just hide it behind the lighthouse. I also think your water would look more spooky if it were a darker shade of blue. I would also consider making the rings on the water bigger they are a bit noisy with all the single pixel detail. |

First sketch on the tile I chose. Will be doing a painter painting a mermaid. Wanted to do a mermaid taking a selfie, but couldn't figure it out, theme wise. SO, painting it is!

Hi, sorry for not making an update! I got a bit busy and forgot about my tile for a little while.
Here's my (still rough) WIP in its next stage. I've finally made up my mind and I decided that I'd turn the treasure chest into a "ship". I've added a pole and was thinking of adding a joke sail as well (my current idea is a pair of underwear or a few, tacked onto the pole) and a person or two. The "ship" doesn't have a bottom yet though (I've forgotten about it), so I'll make sure a bottom is discernible too. |

@arkan85; yeah well there wasn't any traffic back then, also he had a pretty looking WIP so I didn't delete his res although he told me to. Now that he's chosen another tile, it's yours :)
@Reo; I liked the zeppelin idea a lot, would you consider doing it elsewhere? |

I used tinypic to upload the images in my previous post and I think the service is down at the moment.
I can't use imgur since it's blocked in Turkey so I am trying a new service called ImgBB, hope it works.

Decided to try populating my treasure chest boat with a few people and a stereotypical big guy to justify the large pants used as a sail (don't worry, he won't be naked lol, I'll give him a nice pair of underwear). I put the big guy on one side and several people on the other to try and make sure the boat looks stable and not like it's about to flip over due to the big guy. Would appreciate tips, suggestions, and of course critiques. It's been a long time since I've last done a tile and I'm still re-familiarizing myself with ISO collabs, so I'd be happy if someone could oil my rusty old parts. Also right now I'm juggling between being busy and forgetting about my tile (but I do my best to get back to it), so I may be slow with updates or even end up posting after the 7 day mark. |

@Pyro - I'm editing my tile to close off the wave to yours, if you want
to do another edit then it will be one full wave instead of it being
broken in half.

Heh I'm sure you would do a much better job than Photoshop :) Anyways the collabs going to end soon either way, so no rush. If we were in a rush I could make a few tiles myself and end it within a week, haha

Still trying to work on my tile. I've made a little progress but it's nothing significant, as I've got various distractions such as college and drawing for a site that take me away from doing the tile :(
I also kind of feel pressured with the 7-day time for reporting stuff, I can't always post within that time period due to the aforementioned things and just generally forgetting to let you guys know. I know that in the past this was instead two weeks rather than just one, could someone remind me why the time was reduced to 7 days again? |

The timeline would have been reduced to keep people accountable for their tile reservations. This was mainly put in place to ensure we could keep the collab moving forward without excessive tile reservations that never get completed (which is especially bad early on in a collab). We haven't been strictly enforcing as of late since we are coming to the end of this current collab and movement is slow. As long as we know you still intend on finishing the tile, that's good enough for me at the moment
