I'm trying to create a sprite for a main character for a project I'd like to create. But dang if I can't get this main character to look right.

I'm going for an anime aesthetic.

Please give me any advice. Be critical; tear my work to shreds, draw red lines over everything, and make me cry.

I'm willing to completely revise the hairstyle and the outfit; I drew out several versions and this is just what I felt made the easiest transition to pixel art. So I'm open to suggestions that revise the design.
