Beginning WIP:
![]() So far, i've gotten the lines almost finished. ![]() I cant get the left arm to look right, im thinking i need to bring out the elbow to where the arm is bent towards the guitar. But i cant get it so far Edited by Christopher - 27 June 2007 at 5:52pm |

Progress ![]() Not sure where im going with the pants right now, also i need to work with the guitar alot more, any suggestions. Increase contrast? anything. Even though im yet to get a crit for the lineart, ill just move on along EDIT: I got bored and drew him some legs, then i noticed that the stance might be unbalanced ![]() Edited by Christopher - 28 June 2007 at 12:47pm |

Where's the light coming from? You don't really have a definable light source here. The bottom is shaded as if the light was coming from the bottom right hand corner and the shirt is shaded as if the light is coming from the top left.

Dont know where you're getting that thing about the shirt from, seeing as the darkest shade is in the top left.

Yes, but the brightest shade is in the middle. Think top left over him, not right beside him.
At any rate, your light sources are still inconsistent, regardless of where the top left one is. |

Contrast, man! You need to give the piece more contrast so things look like more than solid-filled outlines. The anatomy is also a bit off; his head and arms are deformed. Try to define joints better and really make sure the angles limbs are taking in 3D space are apparent.
