![]() Hey everyone! I just wanted some suggestions on this piece in general before I go any further with it. Thanks everyone
![]() NOTE: The part I want you guys to critique is his left cheek area - since all other areas are just filler for reference.

I overlayed your tan-colored skull parts that don't have any dithering onto the base image, and the skulls right orbital socket fits quite the same as a "traced image" would. The left socket is near perfect if you ignore some of the detail in the base image.
The curves of the left nostril area are a little thick, but the base curve is quite the same as if you traced the nostril in the main image. |

I did use the left eye socket's dimensions to get the right perspective, which I then connected with lines (which I don't know is allowed or not ?): ![]() The base curve of the nose looks like the ref pic, but is not traced at all. I thought it was ok to base your art off of other references. I guess not.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or can clear up the rules a bit?
