Hello all, I thought it'd be good to get some critique on a tileset I've been working on.

-Tileset

The tree is giving me a lot of trouble.. I don't know how I should finish it. It seems like it's missing something. And I'd also like some help or some ideas at least on what to add to it. (It's supposed to be a forest tileset)

By the way, it's being used in a solo project I'm working on. If you'd like to see the progress of it, you can click here to view it. (Made in Game Maker 7)

	Maybe you could add a little more shape to the tree. It doesn't have to be a straight tree trunk. Make it look more realistic, perhaps?

	that's the thing, I don't know how to make a texture of a realistic tree. I've tried searching for example trees, but none of them really go with the game's style.

	Not the texture, the shape. Start doing a believable shape an then think about shading

	Opacus drew a tree a while ago. you can still find its WIP thread around. by the way, aren't those the same terrain colors used by Indigo in his banner?

	Alright thanks, I'll start on that. As for the colors.. I chose them myself. If anything they should only look similar to the colors in Indigo's banner, but not the same.

	not that such thing could be aproblem, since nobody can (c) colors palettes :P by the way, what your trunk needs is a more organical look. trunks are spirals of nonpattern-esque nature. while it is still a colum, it doensn't need to be made of a cilinder.
