Yeah, I know about sprites. I just don't know what you mean by 'do not have copy'.

Also, out of curiosity, what pixelart techniques [dithering, antialiasing, outlines etc] would make a piece of pixelart look like a sprite?

I started a WIP progress today, didn't get very far before i realized i wouldn't finish in time and even if i did it wouldn't be allowed.

I was going for a kid king of spades as I don't like the beardy card faces. I kinda like him. The colors on it were just place holder colors, i need to fix the lines first. I may finish it one day but not in time for the challenge and i'll then get to use as many colors as i want, so just posting it here now for crits.

'copy' means any writing at all.

As iSTVAN said in an earlier comment. Sprites are normally minimally colored because they are usually animated and they tend to be more of simple color blocking with some selout here and there. The main idea is that you can easily 'read' it clearly...'read' meaning that your mind sees it clearly and defined. This does not always mean overly detailed since the brain is capable of filling in the details if you place them pixels carefully.

Oooh, looking good there Jalonso. They looked like they might be suited (pun) to a fighting game. Of maybe, the game could feature playing cards that come to life every time the cards are dealt. Now I'm getting carried away!

I'm pleased that my advice proved helpful.

Nice set Jal, what happened to the cuties though?

I was trying to make a king of hearts but he looks like Ken, Barbie's bf. Bahaha.
