We'd make the same protest if people tried to submit an oil painting to the challenge. It's not that we hate oil pantings, but this is not an oil painting challenge. Get it? No one's saying Oekaki isn't art. It is, but it's not Pixel Art. |

just a tip for everyone.. i've noticed that a white dot on a black background is more visible then a black dot on a white background.

The moon is doing wonders to fix the composition, but I feel that something more, such as clouds, would be necessary to avoid the loss of balance. Perhaps stretch the canvas a little lower beyond the bottom of the dragon?

Good Job Jalonso. I can't believe somone would do that, it makes me sick. Anywho, here is my newest update. It isn't very much of an update but I need some feedback on it. Do you think this is more balanced that before, I don't want to spend a ton of time working on the clouds if it doesn't help.

Wish I had the time/energy to add animation.. I think that's going to be the key in this challenge. ;)
Anyhow, I said in my submission that I messed with lots of stuff before landing on my final piece, so here's an animation of some of those stages.  |

Zool, the piece is really awesome and I think the only thing that could make it perfect is if you'd add some anim to the currently static left 1/3 of the canvas.
something subtle.. perhaps cloud movement?

True, I begun animating the waterstream but got fed up, I might kick in an hour before deadline. I did animate some smoke from the house, but it looked bad.
