I like the original concept but I think it could benefit from some references.
Like making the pelvis look more visible and the arms a bit lower than the ribcage. The back elbow is a bit too squared, and it is off model compared to the front one. the knee bones could be a bit more bulby as well. On the color side of things, I think the eye sockets could be darker to make the redness pop out a bit more so it looks a little bit more and improving the readability. ![]() |

I think that even for a standing stance, the pose is too stiff and there's too many straight vertical lines. Make his arms and legs bend a bit (they also look too thick for bare bones — and the real skeleton's chest is actually see-thru). Here's my attempt at more relaxed pose/more skeletal skeleton.
