You've already submitted this to the gallery (twice). It gives people the impression you aren't going to work on it anymore, so they're less likely to spend time offering advice.
Anyway, I suggest lighter outlines with more color, especially where the light is hitting, I'd also make the eye shape less geometric and more natural. And maybe do a bit of antialiasing on the jaggy bits. IT's nice overall, I think it just needs some tweaking here and there. :D [EDIT] Also, you've got a ton of wasted and redundant colors--31 in total. You may want to do a bit of clean-up.
