Here is my picture as of now (11/14/2009 5:40AM GMT)
I am using this as a practice for using a small pallet, extreme dithering (compared to my normal uses), and long gradient dithering. Just thought I could use some advice to improve my techniques. |

My personal take on hyper dithering is to keep the ramps mellow and smooth. Your colors have a fair amount of contrast so it looks a bit like pixel pudding.

I get what you mean about the colors, but how can I improve the dithering?

I don't think its the dithering thats the issue since that's what you're practicing on.
I meant that WHEN you extreme dither then the ramps should have less contrast than you have now. Not that it should it just my take on extreme dithering... ![]() Edited by jalonso - 15 November 2009 at 4:44pm |

Other than that quick fix, is there anything else that you would recommend?
