Started off with the head and have expanded it out into a torso. Still needs a lot of work but it's starting to look quite good. I'm planning to make a black and white version and a colored version. Any crit would be helpful but bear in mind that the shading on the torso isn't finished yet ^^;

Might wanna bring his head a wee bit forward otherwise his throat would be attached right onto his spine XD   Other than that give him nipples :P Looks good though I like the fur ^^

Can't see the rest of his body but he might be off balance. His head is indeed too far forward. If his left arm is stretched out he is probably not off balance. Just not sure with this little of line art. Really nice sharp line art, the image is real clear and detailed all ready.

When the lineart looks this awesome, you know the result is going to be!

I can't really crit anything at the moment... I might get back to you with that XD

He looks like his left arm will be out, maybe bending/hunching a bit... I assume. We'll see won't we?

New update for the bunch of mind readers xD Yes I intended for his other arm to stretch out and it'll be pressed against a rock or perhaps something else if I change my mind.

The right arm and hand's are just basic sketches to help me with the placement of the legs, it'll be worked on once the rest of the body's complete. Hands, are very, very annoying. Onto the lower body!

Thanks for all the help thus far ^^

I know it's a sketch, but I have to say thet his right hands thumb isn't placed right/the other fingers are too long.
I really like this WIP! Can't wait to see it once it's done =D

Dangit, I didn't get much time to work on this but i've finally got round to finishing off the body. Arm needs to be fixed, fairly happy with the legs. Shading on arms and legs will be next.

PS. GeorgiePie, the hands aren't exactly conventional, the thumb is placed higher than it naturally would be on a human because it's a partial mix with how a wolf's paw works.

That looks pretty good.

But you're breaking my preconceived notions that all werewolves are howling lunatics out for blood. This one seems... happy.

The left hand seems to be missing some fingers which seems weird.
Also a nice tail would be nice I guess. Otherwise it's nice!

Final lineart unless anybody has any objections. No tail for this werewolf xD Color will come next, i'm going to base the coloring on this patterning: http://www.skolaiimages.com/wildlife/canine/wolves/images/Wolf_a_004.jpg - (Link) which is mostly black with brown highlights.

We should be able to see some more of the werewolf's left fingers. Unless they're, y'know, cut off or something.

Does anybody actually read through the comments of the artist before posting? He's going to be holding onto a rock in the finished picture so you shouldn't be able to see the fingers behind.

His head looks slightly off center.

If he's holding a rock, his hand's in a very weird position.

On second thoughts, i'll just reply to Black Dragon's crit-

Hey, I can't log onto the forums so I'll post my werewolf crit here:

Well, if he is going to lean on a rock, his left arm should be at a 170 degree angle instead of the steep 160 degree angle. That arm should be a little shorter. His right arm could be on his hip, he looks a bit uncomfortable holding it in the air like that. One last thing: his head should be about 4 pixels to the left.

Cheers! Feel free to post this for me.

Anyway, hand's in the correct position for how I want to lie on the rock, after all his fingers are very stiff compared to humans; I measured the proportions of the arms with my fingers while in 2x zoom and although it might not be pixel perfect it's certainly proportional and it's not going to change and I can't see why I have to change the right arm.

Honestly, if I tried to change some of this i'd become unhappy with the piece. I've moved the head left 3/4 pixels.
