| LOL, the only challenge I tried to enter was the Vista colors one. I joined when it had, like, two days left, so I thought I would be able to finish before the deadline. I got the basic thing down, but then the contest ended. I didn't really care, though, because it was fun. So I kept working on it even after the contest ended. LOL. It's about halfway finished now. I'm going to go work on it. |

I wish you the best of luck metaru... thats a hell of a lot of work  but if you do make it, it would be an amazing feat of pixeling...  First version of my fighting character...:  What will be different comparing it with the Gaia's Vengeance piece? - Shorter and (hopefully) more natural and detailed hair (despite the size). - No branches on the arms, but long fingers. - Shorter (and broken/torn) roots on the legs... ------------- http://www.mega.freeforums.org/ < PJ Member Dran's Multimedia and RP Forum |

This is one of those pixels you start and never finish, but luckily I remembered it when I saw this challenge (love machine)! Probably won't end up submitting but hey... it's worth a shot. So here's the story: there's this bored-looking tv who suddenly explodes with colour. The in-between animation is still on the drawing board (in fact the whole animation is) however I was hoping it to look somewhat like OMGFossil's animation http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/24220.htm - here. Since it's a 2 week challenge(and that means a lot of time) I have decided what challenges I want to do. oops,
I challenged metaru.. for the 1 bit bittyness challenge.. I did not read this, now he ordered me to do this list too... Manxana, why does he make so huge images? Tales from the future, Ohnoes, thats huge too! Retro remake: Ill search for the smallest screen possible.. sadly im not of the retro age, so its going to be hard to think of a game (probably one I dont know..) Billie Jean ilumination: again huge! Close encounters: I will remake my first finished non-iso pixel art.. AARG, lots of HUGE images! im sure I am not going to finish them all, and im allmost sure metaru isnt as well....  EDIT: Ill do this order: Manxana and 1 bit thing, than the close encounters, and then if I still have time the tales from future.. Manxana wip:  (not as detailed as the origional, but I dont have time to make it pixel perfect..) ------------- |

Iaza makes the BG transparent, but it puts the old frames behind it, so it looks like one big blur at the last frame... But thanks for your help...

@new-age, I like the idea but something about the arms placement gets so lost that its actually too hard to read the stick figure. I can see where you are going but reading it shouldn't take so long that you lose interest.

I.. er... um... (not exactly sure why I'm complaining here...) But I seem to have gotten a ribbon for this challenge. Yes that seem to be my complaint.
