Bio:
Rabidbaboy came into games late in his childhood. He only found out what a computer was at age 8, and started playing on the SNES at age 10. Ever since he played those old SNES games (Mario and Power Rangers, in his cousin's console), he's been wondering how people made the drawings move.
Enter year 2001, Rabidbaboy turns 12 and is introduced to Flash by his programming teacher. While he never really exelled in animation or coding, he has been continuously amazed at the range of digital art people can come up with. He himself made some games in Flash, more on platformers and fighting games.
During the end of year 2004, he joins DeviantArt, and the concept of an online community attracts him. Since then, he has joined a few more online communities (NewGrounds, Flashkit, Pixeltendo, Pixeljoint), some he enjoyed more than others.
His first love was animation, and while his creations were mediocre at best, he loved to share his work with others, and loved seeing their work too. But that passion had to stay in the background, as Rabidbaboy discovered pixel art. The exact art, the placement of pixels that would decide if your work was good or not. More than the art, he enjoyed the community.
At NewGrounds, people were assholes, flaming each other for the most pedantic things, while the people at DeviantArt were the goody twoshoes that cried when they heard "the 'F' word". The middle ground was the pixelart communities, who enjoyed not only clean fun, but allowed for some snide remarks from time to time. And Rabidbaboy enjoyed that.
While he admits that he has a lot to learn in pixel art and spriting (pixel art's small brother), he will ensure that he will have fun all the way.
