I was born in the early 1980's and so I grew up playing pixel art games. I'm still quite fond of any game that uses pixel art and have a fondness for this style (hence my joining PixelJoint).

I'm a hobbyist programmer involved in a few project here and there. I just recently wrote a small program I call Desktop Pets (I'm sure there's something commercial out there with the same name but... eh.) using one of the animated images from this site (actually, it's Pupp by Fool).

I joined knowing the incredible talent that's available at PixelJoin hoping to find a few artists that would be interested in submitting some artwork for the free open-source game community. If you're interested, drop me a line!
