I think the colour of the bolt is fine. If you changed the colour it may disrupt the rest of the piece. However I do agree in that its a little hard to make out. Perhaps try lightening up the bottom spike/point of it. Right now its getting darker as it gets closer to the battery and looks a little pillow shaded.

Very nice layout and style used. The bolt is hard to make out and perhaps could use a different color, say green/blue. Good job.
