An old port on a river, intense street lamps and 2 persons strolling around...

Wow, the lighting is really nice on that one. And the expression shown by the guy in black simply by his pose amazed me.

Favorite'd.

It is so easy to tell it's a d-p scene just from the thumbnail. Another great d-p scene!

Hehe, thanks to all, youre right its far from perfect, but I tend to make compromise between realism and the way I want it to look like. Its great that I could change your mood, Packrat. And thanks to you, jalonso, inkspot, sedge, Pedro, jmgandalf. Your tipps always help me on my next piece.

I'm great fan of staying up at nights, and I've spent many of them outside strolling around with friend. I've had great moments during those times, and this piece brought me back into them. I don't know how you did it, but that piece is from my life and I will be emotional for the rest of the night. Thanks :)

I don't know sedge, through my perspective, I think it is missing some reality...

The thing that is appealing to me about your scenes is that you're not afraid to go extreme with the contrast. It feels more like real life. Sometimes we obsess over shading when in reality you can hardly see anything at night.

You have done huge progress, d-p! It is seen when this work is compared to your other isometric works. Only problem I see, is that the ships look like tankers or something, but they are too small to be tankers, I mean when compared to the humans... The light pole should be taller too, but well, that is just a nitpick.

Comment- Another wonderful d-p scene. Your pixelart is unique and always stands out because you always include a non-visible component, emotion. Crit- I also agree that some highlights on the water are missing, not much though. I also think the shadows would be more dramatic on the couple with this type of lighting. I may be wrong but, would a rectangular lightbulb create a circular beam of light?

Interesting. Makes the scene appear clearly in my mind, like if it was real...

This is truly nice :)

I would only add more highlights, in the water and the grass maybe, but overall great work with the ambience.
