I guess I was thinking of doing the explosion effect in another sprite and use it on top in game ... meaby i should have done it before submit. thanks for the feedback.

The lead-up to the explosion looks great, but the explosion is lackluster. It looks like the "pig" just vanishes out of existence, there's no sense of it actually exploding, or that the explosion comes from its back like the lead-up suggests that it will.
