I'm very grateful for everyone. Thank you for your kind words.
I actually couldn't even think this piece to be on the weekly showcase and get such a great popularity for me. I will try to make another one landscape piece and include all your criticism while drawing.
This is great. The use of color and texturing, specially the green, are unique. The white blobs however are too abstract and and translate mostly as noise at 1x. Close up it looks like they could be buildings but its not completely clear either. I like how you made the background mountain faded, but with so much empty spacre elsewhere I feel that it is needlessly competing for attention with the foreground due to it's placement. Great work. Thanks for sharing.
Wow this piece is really impressive, your color choices really bring out the depth and scale of the scene, so I can tell how enormous and far away the mountains are. Favorited because I need to learn from this.
i think eishiya makes a great point about the mountain in the back however, and I would like to see what it looks like with the change :)
This is absolutely beatiful. Nice use of clustering to fabricate detial. I completely agree with eishiya, though.
I love the color and the picture. although the town could use some detail.
Good use of green and red on the foreground part of the island!
The mountain behind the most visible part of the island seems to cut off suddenly - it looks like more of it should be visible on the right side of the island, but it isn't. Making more of it visible, or making the mountain have a steeper edge that doesn't look like it should continue far to the right should help. What you have now is plausible since mountains certianly have changes in their slopes, but it just looks off to human eyes that expect continuity - if you want the mountain's slope to change, you should make the point of change visible.
The edge of the mountain also tangents with the edge of the foreground mountain, on the left side. One or the other should be moved so that there's a clear overlap, instead of the edges nearly running together.
Really really good I love it especially the blue palette of your ocean is really really nice
