Recognized it immediately. I'd agree with eishiya, the dithering does very little for the picture, and I'd recommend instead that you go for a more claylike, clumpy look - not to toot my own horn, but I think my Fleecey illustrates the kind of clustering that I think would work for this image.
Dithering has its place, and I think you overused it here. There's hardly anywhere that's not dithered - dithering is best used in small amounts, to create transitions between solid colours, or to create a texture.
