Thanks a lot! Hmm pointing out that the style differs makes me worried that it differs from the style of Fearless Innocence also? Since they're meant to be like a series of pieces (That's why the borders are same on preview). I tried making the style same, even originally starting with same colors but was hard to depict night time with the other palette so I made some adjustments.

This is up to book-illustration standards, and totally different from your usual style (which is also extremely good) !  From storytelling, to pixelling, to layout, it is unbelievably well done.

I'm with Manu on the rain and lighting though.

The scenery is so nice. It's probably not a good idea to be on a boat during a rain storm. Also, the movement of the water from the river and the rain is good. Great stuff.

I was using darker colors on the sleeve for most of the process and once I changed the colors I was worried about some other things so I didn't realize that it doesn't work with light source! (I dunno if I should fix it at this point).. I had a lot of issues with the leaf! I was trying to make it look lit from within but I didn't know how to pull it off right.. It didn't cross my mind to make the stem lighter! Rain was kinda rushed since I was already tired of working on this and I have some other stuff to work on.. I just wanted to post it already, was thinking of even submitting it without rain! But that wouldn't make much sense. Thanks again, your critique is appreciated!

This is fantastic. Lovely colors, great atmosphere.

A few nitpicks: the bright sleeve stands out harshly, at first it looks like a misshapen arm bc colors are close; also it shouldn't get that much light given relative position of the lamp.
The 'umbrella' should be lit from within not above, yet it surprisingly doesn't matter much except the stem which should be brighter than the bg.
The rain is possibly the weakest part, too wiggly, possibly too bright, and too evenly spaced.

I really love the depth and color range you managed to put into it!
