It looks good. I havn't seen "thick" outlines in work that much, it's nice to see different stuff. Some things you might want to research are banding and anti-aliasing(AA). AA isn't entirely necessary, and you do some in this piece of yours, but I find it more important the smaller a piece is. As for banding, there are a few spots in there that can easily be fixed.
