i really appreciate people telling me how i can improve my art and i will try to fix banding on future pieces!
I'm not too picky about color count, just as long there isn't an outrageous number that causes suspicion. Overall, it's quite a nice piece. For the white outline, you may want to try extending it a couple pixels to prevent banding, kind of like the way one would do AA. Body proportions are always interesting with chibi style. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
@king bobston The white outline is a "trend" I guess. I used to be on DA a few years ago, and I saw it used a lot for pixel art posted there. Not into it myself, but I see why they use it.
Your colors got inflated to 110
Your white outline creates banding everywhere, there's also banding where you shadowed closely to the outer edges.

Why do so many DA artists use this white outline?
I dig the rendering of her eye and the hair.
