My very first attempt at pixel art! I'm looking to improve, so critique is most welcome!
I feel this piece lacks that technological feel one would expect when looking at a droid. Also, I had no idea what I was doing when adding shades/highlights so any advice there would be awesome.

I strongly reccomend you have a look around, and try out different techniques ;)
For a first piece this is quite good, if I have to suggest improvements, I'd say the shading is to rough, as the dark color is really far apart from the brighter one...
As a rookie, you can add a few colors, just ALWAYS control your colors, and NEVER use 50% opacity brushes or whatever. Not that you did, but so that you don't ;)
That said, I wish you a nice stay here. Hang on and train, and that's about it! (Just check my older submissins if you need encouragements XD)
