For the sake of realism this has just yellow colors.
Trust me I tried so hard to make this look better.But my heart starts hurting if I see my little lemon details fade 
Fun Fact: I actually made a real still life on paper as reference with a real lemon and it was my moms last lemon. |

The single bright pixels don't work though (and never do, almost). I'd try a highlight cluster instead.
The colors are nice but it seems a little bit like a waste to have all these 8 colors in the yellows. Some are very close, it might be worth trying to replace one or two with some contrasting color (dark purplish shadows? bright bluish highlights?).
