My submision for the weekly challenge, Catformer.
The game revolves around scavenging for food as long as possibile. The red bar represents life, and the yellow bar represents hunger. The yellow bar slowly fills up until fill. Once the hunger bar is filled, life slowly drains down. Life can be replenished and hunger can be reduced by successfully scavenging. When one finds an item to scavenge, you will engage in claw and fang combat to get open the concealed goods. Each item has various difficulties that require certain moves and/or combos to unlock. Rare finds will grant more points and help the player greatly than common ones, however, every move you perform will slowly increase the hunger bar
Edit: added manholes so the games involves more jumping as it should be a platformer. |
Well, I think I forgot to add some platforms. I was originally going to do a window thing, but I think jumping over objects count as a platformer. I don't know, it's your guys call if you want it in the weekly challenge. I added some manholes, I hope it still qualifies.
