The cape and the hood are well rendered, but I find that the face, the chest and the arm are hard to read, mostly because of the white pixels. On the face, I can hardly see the eyes.

Agreed! I struggled to make the eyes stand out. I tried to make them more apparent with shading around them, but it didn't go so well. :/
The limited color pallet wasn't something I'm used to working with yet.
