2 shmup mockups I made last year using the MSX palette and restrictions.

Whereas each tile and sprite would work, together there is way too many of them for it to ever work on a real MSX (that hud would basically have to be just letters and numbers and the life and bomb icons, and maybe the title, all the rest is wasteful to the max.)

No, and I don't own an MSX2 either, would have to get some emulation going

The player ship reminds me of Guardic, actually this looks like something Complile could have developed for the MSX.

Loving that hud, specially the rounded section above Hi. Always felt maybe too many colors for the sake of it in the gameplay, dunno.
