First thing I thought of when I saw this weekly challenge was Snake from Metal Gear...so that's what I did! First time I've ever made a realistic-looking face (or realistic-looking anything, for that matter). Hardest part was probably the hair, but was a good challenge!

The pixelling is very nice, and it's good that you tried something out of your usual subject matters and style. But I'm pretty sure the piece could be made "stronger" with a different palette : The narrow range of pastel colors still give a "cute" feeling, it contradicts the stern expression and adult character.
