I have to agree with BB here the pic seems flat. But I love the texture! Also as mentioned the guns seem off due to the brilliant texture of body to the simple texture of the guns.

i so not like the red eye in the mouse (nouse mouse i not do 'boca' in inglish) . But the rest is incredible! What program you use to create that. (i use the paint brush).

The textures are really cool, though the figure seems to be all on one plane. Not too sure about the dithering on the guns.

It lacks dynamism. The lineart is obviously well made, the shading is incredible (although I don't like the dither in the gun) and the whole concept is great. But it lacks dynamism, which is very important for such a threatening monster. 4/6

I don't think the type of shading you used for the guns is very well suited to it, but the creature itself is awesome.

thanks The B.O.B., detailed critism like that is very appreciated! And of course I will work on it some more before animating.
For the right gun, I do see the problem, but I think its just the cannon that is out of perspective from the rest of the gun, ill just move it to the right a bit.
I might redesign some parts too, like throw in some kind of armor.
(or deal with the fact a one-eyed monster will have an hard time using guns, thee hee)

   Looks a bit too grainy for me. And if that was the point of the piece, or to capture a stony feel, than the nails of the creature look a little off when compared to the rest of the piece. Also, the perspective of the creatures under belly( scales) are moving in the wrong direction, as is the allignment of the gun on the creatures right arm. Other issues may be it's feet seeming different, as if they were drawn in separate times when compared to the body. That and the light source is a little strange, especially with it's little tail.

   By the way, I'm not harping on you or anything, just wanted to let you know these little probs before you get to animating, or else you'll start hereing echoes from the past from countless others. Save you the hassle, know what I mean?...It's good, though. I can see you spent a while on this guy. Hope to see the cleaned up animation in the near future.
