It's cute. I think a more dynamic pose and more shading/texture would really strengthen this piece. As it is now it's very plain and has no shading anywhere.
It'd love to see you develop it further outside of the contest. Even if it's just some more shading or perhaps a fur texture or fleshing out the leaf-ears more. If you check out many of the other entries you can see a good way to do texture and shading while keeping in the color limit.
