This is supposed to be lost Atlantis, background for a mobile game (It´s chopped from bigger piece but there´s just sea above). I kinda wanted to emulate Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis atmospheric style. Lighting is maybe off but I just didn´t care :)
I wouldn't change a thing, it's great as it is IMO.

agreed on all point made so far, the foreground seems like it on top of the bkg not part of it.

I agree with jmgandalf. The background is fine for now. But the detail of the wreckage is lacking. It seems unfinished. It looks as if you worked on it for only 10 minutes and called it quits. I think some wood texturing and extra vibrant oceanic hues( maybe a little more golden/yellowish-green hues in small doses) would help liven this up. Otherwise, it just looks like a work in progress.

i really like the ocean background. great dithering and lighting work, but i think the foreground ruins could use more detail and texturing.
Because hey, its a paying job, and we all know those don't matter. ;) [I'm assuming its a paying job...]
Its a good peice, but it could stand some different colors. At first glance it all just seemed like a glob of stuff. You can't really tell the mask and fish or the likes from the rest.
And I can understand it being wreckage and dim since it is on the ocean floor, but this is just more of a... um.. I dunno, I've been up all night and am about pass out...
