i like color palette ... but the slope of the terrain looks swing (probably because of the different angles of trees and toadstools)

thanks for the feedback. For the next upload I'll try to clean up my pixel work, maybe even add some subtle dithering and aliasing in areas. I think my problem stems from rushing it and skipping the cleanup stage. One could almost say this looks like a WIP from the contest boards. Still, each new piece is a learning process.

I just got Asesprite so it has motivated me to do more refined work.

beautiful, different, and making good use of the medium.  would love to see some tighter control in places, possibly a little AA in the most jaggy/textured areas.  but the energy you've maintained is working and you don't want to lose that.
